AVID Career Fair

A big thanks goes out to Steve Rambach and Lanphier High School for sponsoring a career fair for 8th grade AVID students as well as AVID students from LHS. There were several new and exciting careers represented and the crowd was not only a nice size but very involved in the event. Dinner was provided and NHS students volunteered to make the event run smoothly. Everyone had a great time.

Tuesday, March 8, AVID students from each school presented information about the program to board members and all in attendance.

The information presented, explained each facet of AVID, its purpose, its importance to students, its use beyond the classroom and how AVID will help students in the future.
