2018-19 Student Invoice Distribution
Student Billing invoices have been generated for the 18/19 school year. The first notices will be mailed the first part of November.
Information Regarding Student Billing Invoices
Springfield School District No. 186 in accordance with Board Policy 743, student fees and charges including but not limited to student service fees, technology fees, driver education fees, laboratory fees, instrumental rental, family and consumer science, special courses, and athletic fees are authorized to be collected in the best interest of the District. Student fees and charges are due upon receipt of invoice, but no later than March 22, 2019. All delinquent accounts as of April 15, 2019 will be sent to collections. View Invoices Online
You can view your student's invoice online by logging into his/her's cumulative folder through the District's Intranet. Once logged in, go to the Student Billing Tab. Invoices can be viewed and printed from this location. Paid accounts will provide an amount in the Mandatory Amount Paid field.

Visit your student's school to obtain a username and password for the District's Intranet.
Paying your Invoice
Checks and money orders can be mailed to the SPS 186 Student Billing office located at 530 W. Reynolds St. Springfield, IL 62702. We can accept check, credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Discover), money order or cash payments made in person at our Business Office (address above) during normal business hours M-F 8:00a-4:30p. Online payment options (credit card only) are available using the SchoolPay website located at http://www.schoolpay.com. General instructions for SchoolPay access are available at this link. Please note, there will be a 2.99% servicing fee for using the SchoolPay website. Acceptable credit cards include Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. Paid in full payments are highly preferred, however, you are welcome to make monthly payments towards your student's invoices. All accounts must be paid in full no later than April 15, 2019, to avoid being turned over to collections.
If you are unable to pay the required fees, you may apply for a waiver of fees by completing the Application for Waiver of Student Fees 2018-2019 form. As required by Illinois law, please be informed that if you apply and are found to be eligible for a waiver of fees that all previously mentioned fees shall be waived. If the District denies your application for waiver of school fees, payment of all fees will be due immediately. Incomplete applications or applications not accompanied by the proper documentation will automatically result in being denied.
