Memorial Choice will be mailing cards
Memorial Choice cards were mailed last Friday, May 18th , to all employees who are enrolled in the District’s group health coverage with Blue Cross Blue Shield. If you do not receive your card by Friday, May 25th, please contact either Nancy Jockisch at Troxell (firstname.lastname@example.org) or Mitzy Widebeck (email@example.com).
Remember that this program is automatic for all District BCBS subscribers and information regarding the program can be found by clicking on the Memorial Choice banner on the District’s homepage. Memorial Choice benefits can be accessed beginning on June 1.

As a member of MemorialChoice and the District’s group medical plan, you are eligible for free virtual care through MemorialNow. This online service offers fast, convenient access to Memorial Physician Services providers without leaving your home or office.
To access $0 virtual care, you’ll need to sign up. You can complete these steps at any time so that the app is available when you need to log in for a visit due to an illness.
To sign up, visit MemorialChoicePortal.com and follow the on-screen instructions. Within 1 business day, you will receive an email message confirming your registration and letting you know that the service is now available to you.
You can also download the MemorialNow app—available for use on smartphones, tablets or other mobile devices—from the Apple Store or Google Play store. Visit MemorialNow.com for more information.

How do I enroll in Memorial Choice?
If you are enrolled in District 186's health care plan, you should receive a Memorial Choice member card in the mail by June 1. If you do not receive a card by that date, please contact Mitzy Widebeck at firstname.lastname@example.org.
How do I access my Memorial Choice benefits?
To access your benefits - including $0 co-pay for select primary care and ExpressCare services - you must present your Memorial Choice member card along with your insurance card at every visit to a Memorial clinic.
How do I transfer my care to Memorial Physician Services?
If you do not currently see a physician at Memorial Physician Services (MPS), you are not required to make a change. However, in order to access the full range of services available through Memorial Choice, you must transfer your care to MPS. Call the Nurse Concierge line at 217-862-0NOW to make an appointment with an MPS provider and begin transferring your care.
How do I make an appointment with a Memorial provider?
The Nurse Concierge is available 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Saturday to help you schedule an appointment.
Access care online?
Virtual care is available to Memorial Choice members for a $0 co-pay.
