About the Communications and Community Relations Department

The Springfield Public Schools (SPS) Department of Communications and Community Relations facilitate internal and external communication for SPS.

The office serves students, staff and the community by sharing information about district programs, achievement, activities, and changes. The Communications Office includes staff with an area of expertise in marketing, public relations, graphic design, web development, and journalism that work together to fulfill the department's mission and objectives.

Our objective is to maintain an ongoing, open, and effective communications process, which provides an environment of understanding and support for Springfield Public Schools.
