WHAT: The 9th annual Disability to Possibility Conference (D2P9). The conference will feature information from area physicians, psychiatrists, behavior analysts, advocates and other professionals. Families will gain practical information about their children’s education issues, connect with other families, and learn how to complete paperwork for local and state resources available to students with disabilities. There is also a community resource fair to help connect families to additional information and services. Child care will be provided at no charge.
WHO: The conference is for anyone and is free and open to the public. The keynote speakers this year are Michele and Aubrie Westmaas, a mother-daughter duo who inspire and empower parents and educators to recognize students’ gifts, support big dreams and expect the extraordinary.
