Seven teams of Lanphier Culinary Arts students will be competing in the annual Chopped Competition on Tuesday, May 16, at 11 AM.
The competition will consist of two rounds, both 30 minutes each. Students will be making a main dish and dessert for five judges from the community and school. They will receive a basket of four ingredients, two being unique and challenging. This project focuses on students’ ability to problem solve and work as a collaborative team. The class is made up of junior and senior students who have been in the foods program for at least three years. The students have been practicing and honing their skills for the entire semester.
