Approximately 60 pieces of two-dimensional artworks created by students from Dubois, Feitshans, Ridgley, Marsh, Laketown, Butler, Harvard Park, Lindsay, McClernand and Lee will be on display.
The exhibit will highlight the scope of the District’s visual arts program and kicks off a partnership with Springfield Art Association which will support an annual exhibit of this nature in the future.
WHEN: Opening Reception: Friday, Jan. 12, from 5:30 to 7:30 PM. Dubois Elementary Visual Arts Educator and exhibit curator Elizabeth Marcy will be giving a brief talk about the concept for the show and the students' work at 6:30 PM. The exhibit runs through Thursday, Jan. 25.
