Dual Credit

Students in District #186 have the opportunity to earn college credit for some classes taken while in high school. In dual credit classes, students earn high school and college credit for classes approved through a process called articulation. The letter grade earned is recorded on the high school transcript as well as on the transcript at LLCC. This credit may be transferable to other colleges/universities, but is subject to the approval of the college/university to which it is being transferred. Only juniors and seniors can receive Dual Credit and must earn a grade of C or better. Forms are distributed during the first month of class and must be returned to receive the credit.
