What makes the SCOPE Day Care & Pre-School the best choice for your children?
Low staff turnover: The majority of the staff has been at the day care since we opened.
Experienced child care staff: The staff has worked in childcare for as little as two years to as much as 28 years.
Family oriented environment: Each of the staff knows all the children by name in each room. Special events and activities are offered throughout the year to encourage parents to be involved with their child's day and education.
Open door policy:The day care and the director have an open door policy, encouraging the parents to visit, call, e-mail or stop by at anytime.
Hands-on learning: Activities are based on the Illinois Early Learning Standards. Scope is in the beginning step of becoming accredited.
Play-based learning: Learning is taught by play as recommended by the National Association for the Education of Young Children.
Small Center: The Day Care is licensed for 83 children.
Meals: A full breakfast, lunch and snack is provided. Hot meals are prepared at the day care by a certified food handler.
