Southeast High School
The District F.A.C.E. (Family And Community Engagement) Team worked effortlessly to make this meeting a success. And there efforts paid off!
The second quarterly F.A.C.E. to F.A.C.E. Conversations was well attended by Families, Community Members, Teachers and Administrators.
People had the opportunity to discuss the successes shared by their F.A.C.E. teams and how to get families engaged.
Attendees were asked to complete a survey before leaving the meeting. The following was asked – “What can you take back and use with your F.A.C.E. team?” Some of the sharing was as follows:
• Different suggestions from the other schools such as meeting place, babysitting
• The comfort that small is okay to start off with
• A couple of ways to get parents to come to our meetings
• Approach community, church and encourage involvement
