Accounting Guidance for PTO

Booster Clubs and Parent-Teacher Organizations/Clubs/Associations are separate individual entities from the school district. Only approved organizations, operating under these guidelines and Springfield Public School District policies and procedures, shall be allowed to use the school name and/or facilities in support of programs. Each must have its own checking account along with a separate federal tax identification number. See the following documents for more information.
