The week of March 5, 2018 was National Breakfast week and schools around the district participated to show support how important breakfast is.
The following are recipes that we have developed and offer in our schools. We have converted the recipes for a serving size of 6 with the nutritional information attached.

What's Happening Around the District
All of our Middle Schools and High Schools now offer homemade fresh Smoothies twice a week during breakfast. We are lucky to have 16 of our elementary schools participate in the USDA Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Grant Program. Every week the students and teachers are given a sample of a fruit or vegetable plus information about that product during their class time. To the right are some of the items they will be trying this month and Fun Facts about these items.
