Register Now for the Horace Mann Annual Charity Golf Classic to Benefit the Springfield Public Schools Foundation

July 26, 2017

It's almost time for the annual Horace Mann Charity Golf Classic!

Mark your calendars for Monday, August 14 and plan to join us at The Rail Golf Course in Springfield. This year's event will benefit the Springfield Public Schools Foundation and the 4 The Kids Fund in care of the Community Foundation for the Land of Lincoln. The 4 The Kids Fund provides support to organizations or events that care for or raise funds for children and young adults with emotional, physical and/or medical needs. Half of the proceeds of this year's Golf Classic will be donated to the 4 The Kids Fund in memory of former Horace Mann Chief Financial Officer, Dwayne Hallman, who passed away earlier this year.

Please consider supporting this event by becoming a sponsor, registering as a player ($100 per person) or donating a door prize.

Sponsorship opportunities are as follows:

  • Higher Education ($1,500) - Your business name will be prominently displayed on the sponsor banner, you'll be a hole sponsor - including hole signage - and you get two free registrations to the outing.
  • High School ($750) - Your business name will be listed on the sponsor banner, and you'll be a hole sponsor - including hole signage.
  • Elementary ($300) - Your business name will be listed on the sponsor banner.

To sponsor and/or register to golf, click here. The sponsorship and golf registration deadline is July 28, 2017.

Your donations are tax-deductible as allowed by law and will be put towards making a difference in the lives of children. For questions or assistance with door prize donations, email golfouting@horacemann.com or call 217.788.5373.

Thank you for your consideration.
