Lincoln Land Down Syndrome Society Buddy Walk -- September 29 @ 1:30 p.m.

Sep 26, 2018 The Buddy Walk® was developed by the National Down Syndrome Society in 1995 to celebrate Down Syndrome Awareness Month in October and to promote acceptance and inclusion of people with Down syndrome.  Registration is now open -- registration form is available for download by clicking the attachment to the right.

Sep 12, 2018 Please join us at Southwind Park - Hope Pavilion on September 18, 2018 from 5:30-7:00 p.m. for our Special Needs Social Club. This is an opportunity for students with disabilities, ages 5-21, to cultivate friendships, foster peer relationships, and work to develop and support social skills. Seating limited to the first 25 children registered.  This is our "kick off" meeting for the 2018/2019 school year. "What's All the Fuss About Eating" - A Feeding Workshop for Families

Apr 9, 2018 Our next Parent Mentor Training, "What's All the Fuss About Eating," is scheduled for Wednesday, April 11, 2018 from 6:00-7:30 p.m., at Black Hawk Elementary, 2500 S. College Street, Springfield, IL.  Free childcare is provided, but you must pre-register as limited slots are available. Snacks or a light meal will be provided.
