Greetings from the Parent Mentor,

Please Join me on Saturday, November 19, 2011 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Harvard Park for the Parent to Parent Support Group.

Parent-to-Parent (P2P) is a parent mentor initiative formed last school year to support Springfield Public Schools District 186 families of students with disabilities.

The purpose of P2P is to connect parents with each other. It's a networking effort to promote and encourage parents to connect with other families of students with disabilities.

P2P will allow parents to connect with other parents and provide mutually needed information and support.

The mission of the P2P is to offer a sense of community, understanding, a place to laugh about the same things, talk about concerns and help each other. P2P will provide an environment where parents are able to talk openly with other parents walking the same walk.

Sincerely,

Jacqueline Gragg, Parent Mentor
