Our keynote, Elizabeth Newton of the award-winning blog "Confessions of the Chromosomally Enhanced" ( http://www.confessionsofthechromosomallyenhanced.com) will speak about growing up in the special needs community, what she learned, and how she applies those lessons as she parents her own child with Down syndrome. Her sense of humor is sure to entertain as she shares how she educates and advocates for her daughter. She'll discuss how she takes advantage of resources offered, and lessons she's learned.
