Bats are everywhere!

Nov 8, 2012 Our school did a school wide writing prompt for the book "Bats at the Library". All of our teachers read the book to their class, and all of our students responded to the prompt "Should the bats be allowed in the library?"

School House Rock!

Nov 2, 2012 Our 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students rocked the school house with catchy songs and many special parts! A huge thank you goes to our students and Mrs. Warren for proving such an entertaining night!

Trunk or Treat

Nov 1, 2012 Families were invited to "Trunk or Treat" from our teacher's cars- What a fun night!

Fire Safety

Nov 1, 2012 Students practiced getting out of the school safely, listened to fire safety information and got to sit in a fire truck! Please take time to practice evacuating your house, and make sure everyone knows where to meet in case of a fire or emergency.

Eagle Scout Landscaping

Jul 31, 2012 Jane Addams Elementary school appreciates Weston Stephens, an Eagle Scout candidate and SHS student, for completing a landscaping project for our school! Weston planned, obtained donations and implemented his project. Please view our pictures!

5th Grade Graduation

May 29, 2012 Our 5th grade students have graduated and are ready to move on to Middle School! Families came to celebrate this milestone. Students sang, shared their writing and received certificates for various achievements.

Peace Week

May 29, 2012 All jaguars participated in a week long celebration of PEACE!

May 25, 2012 All students received 5 books to take home for summer reading. Classes had the opportunity to spend time outside looking through their new books while enjoying a healthy snack!
