May 16, 2019 This year Ball Charter sent 70 entries from 7th and 8th grade to the Letters About Literature contest. We won 22 awards! Nearly one of every three Ball Charter entries was recognized by state judges. That is a fantastic result! Apr 29, 2019 Congratulations to Ball Charter 6th Grade students for raising $115.00 for the Animal Protective League! Money was raised through a STEM project in Mrs. Hamrick's math and science classes. Students sold products that they designed and manufactured.
Apr 25, 2019 Join other parents from around the state of Illinois on Charter Lobby Day on May 8th. Lobby Day will begin around 11:00 am and end around 3:00 pm. Our student council will be in attendance as well. This is an opportunity to speak with legislators and lobby for continued support of charter schools throughout the state. Apr 25, 2019 About 450 students from Springfield middle and high schools performed in the District 186 All City Music Festival on Wednesday, April 17, at the University of Illinois Springfield’s Sangamon Auditorium. This tradition of more than 30 years and features music students from all District 186 middle and high schools, with a total of 10 band and choir selections. Sharing information on Twitter will support Ball Charter in communicating with families and stakeholders in a new way.
