PTC MEETING
TUESDAY
SEPTEMBER 27, 2011

In Attendance: Jessica Shores, Sandy Linehan, Carol Hill, Linda Shomidie, Jessica Robinson, Ed Clanton and Harrison Beler.

Jessica Shores brought meeting to order at 6:00PM.

The first order of business was the election of Officers. It was decided to leave the officers as they are for now.

Jessica Shores brought up the possibility of having a volunteer day, once a week, for parents. They would sign up and then go to the class to help the teacher, copy papers, Wednesday folders, or what the teacher needed them to do.

It was recommended that information be sent home be on bright color paper.

Regarding future PTC meetings. A parent link would go out on Wednesdays to remind parents about the meetings.

Chili Supper is November 3 and Book Fair will be: browsing on October 31st and buying on November 2nd. The book fair will be closed on November 3 to get set up for the Chili Supper and will reopen on Friday, November 4, for late buyers.

The dessert table at the Chili supper will be the school responsibility with all proceeds going to the school.

Chili Supper Tickets will be sold in advance for $5.00. The night of the event all items will be sold ala carte: Chips, $1.00, Soda, $1.00, Hot Dogs, $1.50, Chili $2.00 and drink (ice tea or punch) $1.00, popcorn, 50 cents and desserts 50 cents.

Games for the chili supper will be Toliet Paper Game, Golf, Grand Prize Games, and Fishing. Bounce House charge will be 50 cents.

Linda made a motion that PTC opens a savings account for the future new playground equipment and the motion passed.
