Humphrey thinks these are the students' names because they don't do the things that they are supposed to do in school. Humphrey would call me Don't-look-at-your-friends-Jada.

The teacher says those things to the students and Humphrey does'nt understand everything about humans. Since Mrs Baxter tells me to sit down a lot my name would be sit-down-Isaiah.

Humphrey calls the children those names because that is what he hears the teacher say before she says each child's name.
If Humphrey would have been in my class when I was a student he probably would have called me either; stop-arguing-Katherine or you'll-make a great-lawyer-Katherine.
I think Oreo the Guinea pig in our class now probably thinks my name is it's-over-ther-Ms.-Herman. I always set down my clipboard and whiteboard markers and forget where I put them. Fortunately my students always know where they are.

The reason why humphrey thinks those are the names of kids is because every time that specific person does anything the teacher says for example Raise-Your-Hand-Heidi, Stop-Giggling-Gail, Speak-Up-Sayeh, and Repeat-That-Please-Richie. The teacher only says that because thats what they do Heidi needs to raise his hand, Gail has to stop giggling, Sayeh has to speak up, and Richie needs to repeat thing cause he mumbles all the time.
