Black Hawk - New ISAT Cut Scores
Mar 6, 2013 The Illinois State Board of Education raised the performance levels of the Illinois Standards Achievement Test (ISAT) for elementary and middle schools. The new performance levels will align with the more rigorous Common Core State Standards but will cause a decline in the number of students who meet or exceed standards in 2013. Feb 20, 2013 Beginning Tuesday March 5, all 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students at Black Hawk and across the District will take the Illinois Standards Achievement Test (ISAT). These tests measure student achievement and show how well individual students and their schools are performing relative to the learning standards at each grade level. You can help your child prepare. Our instructional focus is reading comprehension at Black Hawk Elementary School, and we want all of our students to love reading. We will have exciting events and stations centered around our One School, One Book The World According to Humphrey.
