Registration is this Monday, August 6th from 11am - 6pm in the Gym. Please enter through the Lenox Street entrance off the parking lot.

ALL students must register for the school year, whether you are a new student or are returning to Black Hawk. When you register your child, please bring with you the following information:

* child's birth certificate if new to district or entering kindergarten
* proof of residency, such as lease, mortgage, or utility bill
* immunization records
* current physical examination if entering Kindergarten or are new to the school district

Students entering kindergarten and those new to Springfield Public Schools are asked to provide proof of having received physical exam and immunizations. Students entering kindergarten and second grades are required to have a dental exam and all Kindergarten students must have an eye exam.

If you are requesting your child attend Black Hawk this year on a transfer, then an application for a transfer must be submitted in writing. Transfers are granted on the basis of available space at each grade level. Transfers will be considered AFTER registration day. If you are considering having your child attend Black Hawk this year and you live outside the Black Hawk home school boundaries, please contact our office for additional information. However, students currently with an approved transfer from last year do not need to apply.
