Staff from the Lincoln National Historic Site joined the Butler Garden Club to teach our students about early Illinois gardening practices.  The Lincoln National Historic Site generously provided canning jars and a take home bag for each child.  Each child was also able to take home a jar of Bobcat salsa.  The salsa was prepaped by our garden volunteers with Tom Lincoln tomatoes from our very own Butler Garden!  Thank you to our garden volunteers and the staff at Lincoln National Historic Site for providing our students with this wonderful learning experience!
