Oct 18, 2012 Yesterday our scholars who were running for office gave speeches to their classmates, followed by a question and answer time. Today each scholar was give the opportunity to vote for their favorite candidate. An electronic ballet system was used on ipads to simulate a voting booth.
Oct 16, 2012 On October 12, we had our first dance of the year along with a "Dress To Impress" day. Scholars enjoyed a day in which they did not have to be in uniform and were able to spend time with their friends after school at a PTA-sponsored dance.
Oct 16, 2012 This was a celebration for Scholars who followed our school wide behavior expectations for the month of September. Scholars were able to choose from four different stations to participate in as a reward. Way to go Scholars!
Oct 16, 2012 Our 7th grade STEM classes began a unit on weather last month. We invited Mr. Joe Crain from News Channel 20 to join us for a school wide assembly. He did a wonderful job and it was an exciting way for our scholars to kick off their weather unit.
