2 days ago This year, we are excited to announce our new collaboration with Girls on the Run which is a transformational learning program for 8 to 13 year-old girls. We teach life skills through dynamic, conversation-based lessons and running games.

2 days ago Each Monday, a Student of the Week is chosen by their teacher. Ms. Thomas, our parent educator, announces the Students of the Week during our Student of the Week Breakfast on Friday. The recipient receives a certificate in front of their family and friends for a job well done!!

Reading is FUNdamental (RIF) Book Giveaway

2 days ago Reading is Fundamental, a national book program with matching local grants, will provide free books for all Dubois students during the school year. The three giveaways are scheduled in November, February, and early May.

The Freedom Tea

Mar 7, 2013 Second graders from Dubois Elementary performed their "Freedom Tea" to a packed house in February. The performance was full of music, skits and speeches by the students. Students also portrayed some very important people in our history like President Obama, Rosa Parks, Dr.

Let's Read @ Barnes & Noble

Dec 11, 2012 Dubois hosted a reading day at Barnes & Noble's on Saturday, December 1st. Several teachers came to read to students in the afternoon while their parents shopped. B&N even had a special drink for us! Thank you to Mrs. Terrell for dressing up as the character in her story!
