Early Learning Center (P.T.O.)
What is the P.T.O.?
The P.T.O. is a great way to be involved in your child's education. There are many ways in which to become an active participant in the ELC's Parent Teacher Organization. You can attend the monthly meetings, volunteer to help with an event, or help with fundraising efforts.
The invaluable help of our volunteers allows our P.T.O. to provide resources and opportunities for our children that might not be possible otherwise.
When are the meetings?
The meetings are held on a Tuesday once a month at 6:00 p.m. Free childcare is provided.
How has the P.T.O. helped the ELC?
The P.T.O. has helped to fund special programs for students, teachers, and parents, purchase office and classroom supplies, and helped fund the special requests of our teachers. We have also helped to purchase some of the equipment in the Outdoor Learning Environments. We wish to continue these efforts this year.
What are some of the fundraisers?
The. P.T.O. has a variety of fundraisers throughout the school year. These fundraisers would not be as successful as they are without the financial support of our school community and the generosity of our volunteers. Here are some of our upcoming fundraisers:
Spring Chicken Dinner Sale - For the past two years we have had a carry-out chicken dinner sale. Not only have they been successful, but our volunteers have had lots of fun! Carry-out meals were provided by Nelson's catering. Look for that information in the spring.
Otis Spunkmeyer Cookie Dough Sale - These yummy cookies are huge hit! What can be better than warm, yummy cookies without the mess. Cookies come ready to bake and enjoy.
Please join us for our monthly meetings.
