Awards Day

May 25, 2012 Wednesday, Feitshans Academy held their final awards day. Students who have shown growth in Math, Reading, Writing, Conduct, and Specials were given awards and /or medals. A fun time was had by all who attended.

May 25, 2012 Feitshans Academy hosted a "Farewell Feitshans" celebration on Wednesday, May 23, to commemorate Feitshans Academy's last year of operation as an elementary school.

May 24, 2012 Congratulations to Mr. Luttrell and Mr. Frazier for completing their Master's Degree this spring. Congratulations also goes out to Mrs. Rogers for completing her degree last fall. Way to be a role model for life-long learners!!

Royal Readers Ball!!

May 24, 2012 Feitshans Academy hosted their 3rd annual Royal Readers Ball on Wednesday. A king and queen from each class was crowned and reigned over the festivities. Kings and queens were chosen based on their improvement in reading during this school year.

Feitshans Academy Loves Ice Cream!!!

May 24, 2012 Students from Feitshans Academy enjoyed a special visit from the ice cream truck this week during the No Referral celebration! Students who did not receive a referral during the month of May got to pick out a special cool treat. YUM!

Feitshans Academy Students Visit Scovill Zoo!!

May 23, 2012 Over 60 students from Feitshans Academy earned a visit to Scovill Zoo in Decatur last week. These students did not receive a discipline referral for the entire 2011-2012 school year.
