Mission Statement

Graham Elementary School Students will be able to demonstrate good comprehension skills. To do this, our students must listen closely, read carefully, understand fully, and respond thoughtfully. To attain that instructional focus in reading and math, the 21st Century Program will be working with targeted students based on their individual academic needs.

OUR GOAL is to support the school focus and move students from where they are currently to successfully meeting their grade level and state standards in reading and math.

We monitor the academic progress of our students by administering basic language arts and math assessments. After each assessment, the academic coordinator and Power Hour teachers will conference with each student to discuss their growth and develop specific goals for them to work toward.

Our students are empowered with the knowledge that assessment guides teaching and learning and should never be feared. Our students will not flounder, but will purposefully move toward achieving realistic academic and personal goals. SFW-M
