CANNED FOOD DRIVE A HUGE SUCCESS!!!
During Red Ribbon Week our school helped support our community by bringing in canned food for our food drive. Congratulations to Mrs. Hoffmeister’s 4th grade class for being the classroom to bring in the most cans with 147. It was a close race with our second place classroom coming in at 141. We as a school collected around 800 cans of food. As the winning class, Mrs. Hoffmeister’s class will be taking a field trip to the Salvation Army to see where the food will go. Thanks for all of your support with the food drive!!!!

In 1985, Special Agent Enrique "Kiki" Camarena, of the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) was working undercover in Mexico when he was caught, tortured, and murdered by drug traffickers. If students participate in the themed days, they will have several opportunities to receive prizes throughout the week. The classroom that brings in the most cans at the end of the week will win a field trip.
