Next Read Wizards book club meeting is November 5th and members will be given our next book, The Hate U Give. If any students would still like to join for the next book, talk to Ms. Richardson in Room 207.
- Today we will reward 6th grade students who had perfect attendance for the 1st quarter. We are proud of you for coming to school each day! Just a reminder - perfect attendance means you have been at school every day for every class period for the entire 1st quarter. That means no dentist appointments, doctor appointments, etc. We will serve Hawaiin Punch slushies on the blacktop at lunchtime. Check the posters in the hallway to see if your name is on it - or ask your advisory teacher. Congratulations!
Tuesday - We will reward 7th graders
Wednesday - We will reward 8th graders.
Library will be open during lunch today again as the book fair is over
Students whose parents came to parent conferences will get to wear jeans or sweats to school on Wednesday, Nov 7th. Those students will receive a wrist band on Tuesday, Nov 6th in their advisory class and will need to wear it the following day.
IMSA will be cancelled after school today
“The beta club meeting has been moved to today after school in room 203 from 2:30-4.”
Pride of the Generals will meet after school Tuesday in Mrs. Romer’s room
Reminder students to take a coat/ jacket / sweatshirt to lunch — students you may stay in the cafeteria but his is not required — once you go outside you stay outside— if you go to the library no food or drink is allowed
Students this “our “ school, please show respect to building and grounds by using trash cans and doing your part to keep Grant looking it’s best and remember to be respectful of others property to and from school.
Learning Lab is open on Tuesday and Thursday — please make sure you have a signed learning lab pass from your teacher and report to the cafeteria by 2:40
Lunch tutoring is available on Mondays and Fridays see the signs for teachers and locations
Reminder students the expectation at Grant is to keep your hands and feet to yourselves at all times during the school day
Students for your safety please only cross at the designated crosswalk areas
