"B" Day

Welcome to Grant Middle School, where we READ, REFLECT, and RESPOND to text.

SPORTS: 7/8 GVB have a home game tonight, 2/14 against JMS, game time is 3:30 PM. The 6GVB have a game this Saturday vs. LMS/BC at 8:00 AM. No 6GVB practice on Friday, due to the dance. Scholastic Bowl meets vs. LMS at 3:30 PM here at Grant.

Registration forms for next year need to be turned into your guidance dean as soon as possible.

This Friday, February 15 we will sponsor " Doughnuts with Dads" in the cafeteria from 8:15-9:00 AM.

Valentine Dance hosted by the BETA club is this Friday, February 15 at Grant MS. This dance is for GMS students only!!!!!! The dance is from 6:30-9:00 PM, with the American Idol contest starting promptly at 6:45PM. The uniform policy is not in effect this evening; however you must be dressed nice and neat. NO jeans or jean skirts may be worn and all collared shirts must be tucked in with a belt. Tickets are $5.00 and can be purchased on your lunch shifts the rest of the week.

Students cannot leave campus and return it is too dangerous and not allowed. Anyone caught doing this will receive a PM detention for 1-1/2 hours cleaning windows, floors, lockers, etc....

The gym will be open "C" lunch shift only today. The library will be open/closed all three lunch shifts today.

Shirts need to be tucked in at 7:45 am and stay tucked in through out the morning and after lunch. Anyone with an un-tucked shirt will receive a 15-minute noon detention.

Students make sure you are getting your coat before lunch. No one will be allowed back to his or her locker after your lunch shift begins.

At this time: teachers please check for dress code violations. Any student with a violation needs to be gone to the appropriate dean with a minor referral. NO HOODIES can be worn during the school day.
