Welcome to Grant Middle School, where writing is our daily focus.

Make sure your bring your planners with you each day.

On Saturday our 7 BB team started their season with a .43-16 win over Vandalia at Pana. They will continue play on Tuesday in the 2nd round of the tourney. They will play at 7:15 p.m.

Art club will not meet this week.

Tonight our 8BB team begin play in the annual C-G BB round robin tourney. They play at 6:15 p.m. At 4:30 today, the GBB team will host Bloomington. Tomorrow the girl's play at CTK with theh 7th graders starting at 4:00 p.m. Wedneday the 8BB team continue play at C-G. Chess club is also after school on Wednesday from 2:40-4. We also have SOM lunch on Wednesday. Friday the boys complete play in Chatham. Friday is also an early dismissal. We will be dismissed at 1:30. There will be no activity buses on Friday. Saturday the 6GBB team play JMS @ 8:00 while the 6BB team will play JMS @ 9:30.

Halloween "trick or treat" hours are between 4:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday October 31st, 2006.

Due to the Wicked field trip, CC has postponed their pizza party. We will let you know when the new date is set.

Please make sure you buy only what you can eat during lunch. Food/drink is not to put placed in lockers. This encourages rodents and insects to invade your locker.

Unexcused absences. If a parent does not call a student in sick or send a note in to Mrs. Wanless the next day, then the student will spend a day in in-house.
