CC will have their pizza party after school tomorrow. All students who finsished the season on the CC team should report to 126 directly after school tomorrow.
By now, everyone should have receivved a flyer regarding P/T conferences this Thursday and Friday. Students, have your parents complete the bottom portion of the flyer, return to to the Stars and Stripes buckets before 8:00 a.m.tomorrow morning. We will draw 1 name from each bucket and then one lucky person from those 3.
Please make sure you buy only what you can eat during lunch. Food/drink is not to put placed in lockers. This encourages rodents and insects to invade your locker.
Grant Middle School's chess club will be starting up next Wednesday October 24th and run until the end of the 3rd quarter. The club will meet each Wednesday from 2:45pm - 4pm in room 104. (Thank you Mrs. Graham!) The activity bus will be available at 4:15 for bus students.
This year we're planning on playing against other schools in our district, including Lincoln Magnet and Franklin. At the end of April, students will also be able to take part in a city-wide chess tournament.
If you're interested in joining the chess club or would like more information about it, please see Mr. Butler in room 100, or come along to our first meeting tomorrow.
Here are the final totals for Penny Wars.
