“Many families have unique traditions during the holiday season. One tradition that many families celebrate is hiding a pickle ornament in a Christmas tree and giving an extra present to whichever family member finds it first. To celebrate this tradition here at GMS, there are 12 pickles hidden around the school. They are made out of construction paper and they are laminated. They’re hidden pretty well, but if you happen to find one, you may turn it into Mr. Peter in Room 104 at the end of the school day and receive a prize.”
Students who purchase Grant sweats are allowed to wear these on Fridays or the last school day of the week …. for example next Thursday.
Reminder students to take a coat/ jacket / sweatshirt to lunch — students you may stay in the cafeteria but his is not required — once you go outside you stay outside— if you go to the library no food or drink is allowed.
Learning Lab is open on Tuesday & Thursday after school — please make sure you have a signed learning lab pass from your teacher and report to the cafeteria by 2:40— Learning lab is closed next week.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~MOMENT OF SILENCE ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
For today’s welcoming ritual, find someone in the room and discuss this question: What is something that you can’t live without?"
“Teachers, for purple positive distribution for the next week focus on students who are following directions and are rarely tardy to your class.”
Have a Great day Generals!
