Good morning Grant Middle School, today is Wednesday, December 19th - 2018. Today is a  “B “ day.

“Beta club is doing a Christmas spirit week Dec 17th-20th.

Wednesday: ugly sweater day
Thursday: class color day 6th-green 7th-red 8th-White
Friday: no school”

“Beta Club is selling candy grams during all lunch shifts. They are .50 cents. Send one to your friend, favorite teacher, boyfriend or girlfriend, even yourself! These will be delivered on dec 20th during 6th hour.” 

 

“6th Grade Girls Group is meeting today during Advisory in the cafeteria.  If you are in this group, Please check in with your advisory teacher and then report to the cafeteria.”

 

 Students as the weather is turning colder just a reminder blankets from home are not allowed at Grant. Do not bring them to school. 

“A second round of holiday pickles has been hidden around the halls at GMS. You found the first pickles so quickly that Mr. Peter has hidden these pickles in some much more obscure locations around the school. If you find one, turn it into Mr. Peter at the end of the school day to receive a candy prize.”
 

Students who purchase Grant sweats are allowed to wear these on Fridays or the last school day of the week …. for example this Thursday. 

 

Reminder students to take a coat/ jacket / sweatshirt to lunch — students you may stay in the cafeteria but his is not required — once you go outside you stay outside— if you go to the library no food or drink is allowed.

 

— Learning lab is closed this week

 

 Students this is  “our “ school, please show respect to building and grounds by using trash cans and doing your part to keep Grant looking it’s best and remember to be respectful of others property to and from school. 

 

  Reminder students the expectation at Grant is to keep your hands and feet to yourselves at all times during the school day and on the way to and home form school— This means no “Play Fighting "


 Students for your safety please only cross at the designated crosswalk areas

 Would you please now rise for the Pledge of Allegiance!
