Good morning Grant Middle School, today is Monday, May 6th  2019. Today is a  “B“ day—

The Kindness challenge continues this week— teachers Ms. Bentsen has a link on her web page for updates— Remember respect is earned  — give respect and get it — Be kind & treat others the way you want to be treated— JUST BE NICE we have 26 days left — You know what is expected, the rules , just do what is right even when you don’t feel like it — Together we can make these last few weeks so much better by making good choices!!

Attention students and staff =— A great way to show kindness and empathy is by giving and donating , This year in conjunction with our kindness counts campaign “Bring in your change or dollars for kids with cancer.  This will last until May 13th. Give all money to your advisory teachers to put in your class box. The winning advisory gets an Olive Garden lunch. Last year we raised $1389, let's beat that! ”

"Kindness Challenge update!  We now have THIRTEEN staff members who have completed and rated four or more kindness activities; keep doing the activities and continue to spread kindness through our school!”

Students-Every staff member will have an assortment of notes that you can write to each other to show kindness. You can write about an act of kindness you saw someone do and share it with a teacher. Or you could write someone a note of encouragement if you see them having a bad day. Turn your note into your advisory teacher or put them in the large envelope on the bulletin board heading down to the cafeteria. Thank you Ms. Gibbs
