May 9, 2013 The Iles Annual Chess Tournament was held on Friday, May 10 from 5:30 to 9 pm in the Iles cafeteria. The tournament was open to any Iles third through eighth grader.

Thanks to everyone who attended the musical and donated to our Free the Children project in Kenya, The Oleleshwa School for Girls. We raised about $320.

Iles Celebrates! is a tradition at Iles School in which we celebrate all of the great things that happen at our school and the wonderful students, parents and teachers who work there. Mar 5, 2013 In collaboration with Mr. Marcy, visual art and technology instructor, students created a poster that illustrates how graphic design is used as a form of communication. The students also learned about typography, a form of written communication that utilizes font design. Students word-processed their topic word using a font that they felt captured the essence of the word. Enjoy!
