Iles School Chess Tournament

May 9, 2013 The Iles Annual Chess Tournament was held on Friday, May 10 from 5:30 to 9 pm in the Iles cafeteria. The tournament was open to any Iles third through eighth grader.

Iles Celebrates! is a tradition at Iles School in which we celebrate all of the great things that happen at our school and the wonderful students, parents and teachers who work there. Iles 1st Graders Learn Graphic Design and Typography

Mar 5, 2013 In collaboration with Mr. Marcy, visual art and technology instructor, students created a poster that illustrates how graphic design is used as a form of communication. The students also learned about typography, a form of written communication that utilizes font design. Students word-processed their topic word using a font that they felt captured the essence of the word. Enjoy! Thanks Mr. Marcy for creating the posters and taking an art class to teach the kids about collages.

Iles School: 3rd - 8th Graders start ISATs on Tuesday, March 5th
