Thursday, March 8, the Scholastic Bowl team traveled to Buffalo Tri-City for their first meet. The A team won a very close match versus Springfield Christ the King with a score of 260 to 250! That is a difference of only one question. The lead toss up scorer was Liam with 4, followed closely by Sam with 3. Devon, Julia and Rafi each added one toss up a piece for the victory. The B team was also victorious with a score of 210 to 165. Stella led the team with 3 toss ups, with Naomi and Grace each adding 2 more.

The second match of the evening was against the host team of Buffalo Tri-City. Liam led the A team to another victory with 7 toss ups. Sam and Rafi each added 2 more for a final score of 275 to 45. Grace led the B team with 5 toss ups, with Naomi adding 3 more for their victory of 150 to 70.

The Scholastic Bowl team's next match is at home on March 13 at 3:30 in a single meet against Jefferson Middle School.
