Iles School offers a curriculum for students identified with a gifted potential in the first through eighth grades. The instructional program includes depth and acceleration to meet the academic needs of these students. This will be accomplished by providing a nurturing environment that respects the individuality of each child, challenges each to achieve his or her potential, and values diversity.

General Information About Iles School and PYP Programme
Process for Admission to Iles
Criteria for admission to Iles School includes three components:
* a test score of 1.5 standard deviations above the group norm on the Naglieri Nonverbal Ability Test
* a teacher recommendation indicating that the student is demonstrating performance levels of one grade level above his/her age peers in reading, mathematics, writing
* a parent recommendation indicating a child's strengths
Students need to meet the criteria in two of the three areas.
The NNAT2 is administered to all 186 kindergarten students in January.
