CAFETERIA
Main Entree: Chicken Strips or Nuggets; French Fries; Green Beans; Pasta Salad with Ranch; Egg Salad

Tomorrow's Breakfast ~ Omelets with Toast or Scrambled Eggs with Toast

Please take all lunch money for your lunch account to the cafeteria at breakfast time.

Make sure you are picking up after yourself both in the cafeteria and on the playground. Use the trash cans provided. Don't litter!

DRESS CODE
Remember ~ if you are wearing a long-sleeved shirt under your uniform polo shirt, the long-sleeved shirt must be the same color as your uniform polo shirt.

Also, if you wear a short-sleeved t-shirt under your uniform polo shirt and it is a different color than your uniform polo shirt, that t-shirt should not be showing at the bottom of your uniform polo nor should it be showing at the bottom of the sleeves of your uniform polo. Make sure you tuck in the t-shirt.

SPORTS
7th & 8th Grade GBB ~ The games tonight against Christ the King have been canceled. You will have practice from 2:30-4PM instead.

Cheerleading ~ There is a very important meeting tonight at 6:30PM in the library.

AVID CLUB
Attention AVID students!
The first AVID Club will meet today after school in room 222 until 4PM. 7th & 8th graders should bring their binders to help out our 6th graders organize. We will design our AVID -shirts to wear on Spirit Days. See you there!

SCHOOL STORE
The School Store is open for business! You may come to Mrs. Huffman's room, room 113, before school to purchase pens, pencils, erasers, paper, and other school supplies.

PHYSICALS
All 6th grade students must have a physical. Please check your book bag and locker & turn in the physical form as soon as possible.

Students ~ If you have asthma, please be sure to check with Nurse Janet in room 109 about keeping an emergency inhaler at school.

SNACK ATTACK CART
The Snack Attack Cart is back! We will be selling snacks immediately after school at the library doors in the main lobby. Everything sells for $1 per item. Stop by after school on your way out of the building & buy a snack!

I GOT CAUGHT READING!
We will continue to reward students for being readers. Teachers will be handing out "I got caught reading!" tickets to those students who are found reading during the day. Put your first and last name on the ticket and put it in the correct bucket in the cafeteria. At the end of first quarter, one lucky winner will be drawn for a prize!

PAWS FOR READING
6th grade is pulling away in the minutes read race. Good job!

6th grade has read 20,576 minutes.
7th grade has read 8,880 minutes.
8th grade has read 10,785 minutes.

Remember to update your reading logs in your binders! Any reading you do counts. Record SSR minutes, class-time reading, and out of school reading ~ it all counts!

HIP HOP DANCE TEAM
Anyone interested in trying out for the Hip Hop Dance Team should pick up an information packet from Ms. Austin in the Guidance Office.

END OF THE YEAR TRIP REQUIREMENTS
At the end of every school year, students are taken on trips to either Knight's Action Park [6th & 7th grade] or Six Flags in St. Louis [8th grade]. We have new requirements for eligibility.

• You must have a 91% attendance rate for the entire school year.
• You must have NO Fs during 4th quarter — you must be passing every class!
• You must not have any suspensions from school or from the bus during 4th quarter.

STUDIO GIRLS
Are you interested in art, photography, jewelry making, or other crafts? Studio Girls is a group that will focus on a different form of art at each meeting.

Who: Any girl in 6th - 8th grade
Where: Lincoln Public Library in the Bicentennial Conference Room
When: October 4th from 6-7PM
Fee: $12 membership fee
