CAFETERIA
Main Entree: Macaroni & Cheese; French Fries; Green Beans

Tomorrow's Breakfast ~ Cheese Omelets with Toast

Please take all lunch money for your lunch account to the cafeteria at breakfast time.

Make sure you are picking up after yourself both in the cafeteria and on the playground. Use the trash cans provided. Don't litter!

You must choose an outdoor activity as you leave the cafeteria. Once you are outside at that activity, you MUST stay at that activity for the entire time!

SPORTS
6th Grade Boys' Basketball ~ Your basketball tryouts will be held on Tuesday & Thursday from 6-8PM.

Game Admission Fees ~ Prices for admission to all JMS games, including Saturday games, have been changed. The new fees are:
Students K-8 ~ $2.00
Adults & High School Students ~ $3.00
Seniors (62 years old & older) ~ $2.00

SHOW CHOIR
Show choir will practice today and Wednesday from 2:30-4PM in the choir room. If you still need to audition, please come to practice this week and be ready to sing.

BUDDY ROOM CONSEQUENCES
If you are sent out of the classroom to a buddy room on a day that we have a home game, you are NOT allowed to attend the game. This includes athletes.

If you have issues at a home game, you can be banned from any JMS extra-curricular activity including dances, skating, bowling, and end of the year field trips!

If you are sent to a buddy room by a guest teacher, you will receive 2 after-school detentions!

MRS. BORDERS WILL KISS A PIG!
In order to attend the "Kiss A Pig" & Dance Party USA on October 28th, you must have 91% total attendance for the school year, no referrals for the month of October, no suspensions for the month of October, and 2 or fewer Buddy Room visits during the month of October. Currently, almost 450 JMS students are eligible to attend the festivities!

JMS PICTURE DAY
Thursday is picture day! All students will have their picture taken. You must wear your uniform.

MATH CLUB
The first girls meeting will be tomorrow after school from 2:30-4PM.

The first boys meeting will be Tuesday, October 12th.

If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Goss-Rodgers in room 107.

DRESS CODE
Remember ~ if you are wearing a long-sleeved shirt under your uniform polo shirt, the long-sleeved shirt must be the same color as your uniform polo shirt.

Also, if you wear a short-sleeved t-shirt under your uniform polo shirt and it is a different color than your uniform polo shirt, that t-shirt should not be showing at the bottom of your uniform polo nor should it be showing at the bottom of the sleeves of your uniform polo. Make sure you tuck in the t-shirt.

• No gum is allowed at JMS.
• No stretchy bracelets, rubber bands, or hair elastics should be worn on your wrists.
• We do NOT use the words SHUT UP at JMS!

PASSES AT LUNCH
Please remember ~ You must have a pass from a teacher in order to go to a classroom at lunch to make up work or receive additional help. Students without passes will not be allowed to go to classrooms!

BOOKS!
On the cart in the lobby of the library, there are some old books, magazines and encyclopedias that students and staff can take and keep. The cart will be available all week before and after school. Come and take books, magazines, and /or encyclopedias! Remember ~ they are old and will only be available this week!

SCHOOL STORE
The School Store is open for business! You may come to Mrs. Huffman's room, room 113, before school to purchase pens, pencils, erasers, paper, and other school supplies.

PHYSICALS
All 6th grade students must have a physical. Please check your book bag and locker & turn in the physical form as soon as possible.

STUDIO GIRLS
Are you interested in art, photography, jewelry making, or other crafts? Studio Girls is a group that will focus on a different form of art at each meeting.

Who: Any girl in 6th - 8th grade
Where: Lincoln Public Library in the Bicentennial Conference Room
When: Tonight from 6-7PM
Fee: $12 membership fee
