• LHS Cheerleading ~ Do you want to be a Lanphier cheerleader? There are mandatory clinic days on the following dates:
May 4 from 5:30-7:30PM
May 5 from 5:30-7:30PM
Tryouts will be held on May 6 at 5PM in the Lober/Nika gym at LHS. You must be dressed and ready to go at 4:45PM.

Practice for Regional Scholastic Bowl will be today after school for students who received a note last week.
PENNIES FOR PATIENTS
We will be starting our "Pennies for Patients" campaign later this week. If you would like to help make posters, come to Mrs. Huffman's room [room 113] after school tomorrow.
Would you like to be a WEB leader for the 2011-2012 school year? Starting tomorrow, applications will be available in the main lobby. If you are currently a 7th grade student at JMS, you qualify to be a WEB leader next year! Pick up an application, fill it out, and return it to Ms. Swaggerty as soon as possible.

JMS is collecting yellow 5¢ Pepsi caps through the end of this week. Purchase any Pepsi product with a YELLOW 5¢ cap. Save the cap & bring it to JMS. There is a collection bucket in the main office. You may also give the caps to Mrs. J-C Nosa in room 115. Jefferson will receive 5¢ for each yellow cap turned in.
STUDENT VIDEO CONTEST
Make a movie and win some cash! The Student Film Club from Springfield Public Schools is sponsoring their 3rd annual student video contest open to all middle school and high school students. Videos may be created in any genre & style bus MUST contain all of the following elements in some fashion:
Window, Smile, Cheese
The deadline to enter is May 2nd at 4:30PM.
If you have moved recently or changed phone numbers, please make sure that you give the new and correct information to Mrs. Frye.
We will be having a staff vs students volleyball game on Thursday at 1:30PM. In order to attend, you must:
1) have 91% or better attendance
2) have NO suspensions for all of 4th quarter
3) be passing ALL classes
Names were pulled for the pie in the face contest for Quarters for Quakes! Pies will be thrown in teachers' faces on Thursday at the volleyball game. The following students have won and need to see Mrs. Orama in room 102 sometime today.
