The deadline for YELLOW PEPSI caps has been extended. Please continue to bring in the caps!
Students with library detentions are expected to serve the detention during the first 10 minutes of their lunch shift until the books are returned or the money for the books is paid. The detentions will be changing to after-school detentions the week of May 16th if you have not returned or paid for the books!
There will be practice tomorrow after school from 2:30-4PM. Come to Mrs. Orama's room immediately after school. You must bring all of your props and music for the act. You must show up for practice if you still want to be in the Talent Show. If you have any questions, please come talk to Mrs. Orama.
The JMS Talent Show will be Friday, May 13th from 1:30-2:30PM. Tickets will be on sale during the lunch shifts on today, Tuesday, and Thursday. Tickets will cost $1 each. There is a limited supply of tickets available. Don't miss out on the opportunity to see your fellow students show off their talents!
PENNIES FOR PATIENTS
Please join our Pennies for Patients campaign and help children with the blood-born cancers of leukemia and lymphoma. Bring your contributions to your first hour [B day] teacher. All types of change are welcome — not just pennies!
If you have moved recently or changed phone numbers, please make sure that you give the new and correct information to Mrs. Frye.
1ST DAY FUND FORMS
Please remember to turn in your YELLOW "First Day Fund" forms. This is regarding school supplies for next school year.
Camp Nkiru will take place at Springfield High School on June 20-July 29 from 9AM-4PM. The purpose of Camp Nkiru is to provide community youth with new ideas and opportunities that will empower them to make positive and life affirming choices that will improve their lives, their families' lives, and their community. For more information and applications, please see Ms. Austin in the Guidance Office.
