Math Problem for Monday
You have 6 classes each day of the school week. If you waste 5 minutes of time from each of your classes, how much time will you have wasted at the end of the week?

5 minutes X 6 periods = 30 minutes
30 minutes X 5 days = 150 minutes
150 minutes ÷ 60 minutes = 2 1/2 hours

You will have wasted 2 1/2 hours of instructional time that you will NEVER get back!

DAILY HEALTH TIP
Have you ever thought about what a grain is? A grain is the seed of a plant. A grain product is any food made from wheat, rice, oats, cornmeal, barley, or another grain that has been ground or pressed. Bread, pasta, tortillas, bagels, rice, and breakfast cereals are all grain products.
