HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ....

TODAY IN HISTORY
On this day in 1994, George Foreman became boxing's oldest heavyweight champion at the age of 45. He defeated Michael Moorer who was 26 years old.

12:30PM bell is the dismissal bell for 8th grade to go to lunch. Please do not dismiss your students before this bell rings.

HALLWAY BEHAVIOR
7th & 8th grade students are not allowed in the 6th grade hallway unless their locker is in that hall, if they have Info Tech in room 116, or SSRW in a classroom in that hall. There will be consequences issued for ignoring this rule.

CAFETERIA
Main Entree: Grilled Chicken Sandwiches; French Fries; Carrots
A la Carte: Chips & Ice Cream
Tomorrow's Breakfast: Breakfast Wraps, Omelets, & Donuts

On Mondays and Fridays we will sell a la carte at the registers. A la carte will be in the back of the cafeteria on Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday.

Please remember to clean up your eating area and push in your chair at your table. You will be asked to choose an outside activity. Do not go past the sidewalks. Once you reenter the building, use your inside voices because other students are in class.

Today will be an outside day unless we announce otherwise! Take your jackets with you to the cafeteria. You will not be allowed to go back to your locker after you eat before you go outside.

8th grade boys will use the stairs by the library and go to the cafeteria first. 8th grade girls will use the stairs by the gym and go outside first. After 15 minutes you will switch.

SPORTS
7th/8th grade boys basketball ~ Your game is canceled for today.

FALL DANCE
We will have our fall dance on Friday evening from 6-8PM. It will cost $3 for admission. Feel free to dress in your Halloween costume to the dance only. You may not wear your costume to school. Keep in mind that all costumes must be appropriate for school.

Capture the moment at the dance! Yearbook Club will be selling pictures at the dance for $2 each. Glow-in-the-dark necklaces & other items will also be sold.

Please be sure to tell your ride to be here NO later than 8PM!

BLEACHERS
It has been brought to our attention that it is a safety issue having students sitting on the closed bleachers in the gym. Please DO NOT sit on the closed bleachers. If you are not involved in an activity in the gym and need to sit down, you will have to sit on the floor — not on the bleachers or the stage.
