Restroom passes must remain in your planner. Any restroom pass sheet that is torn out of a planner will NOT be valid.
Please bring your PE clothes to the locker room before school between 7:50 & 8AM only on Mondays or Tuesdays. Take home PE clothes on Fridays only and put them in your hall locker only at assigned times ~ before/after school & before/after lunch.
Please remember to be quiet in the halls especially during lunch shifts.
Please be sure to check the "Jaguar News" bulletin board in the main lobby for important information.
Please remember to tuck in your shirts and to wear a solid color dark belt with your slacks/shorts. No neon color polo shirts are allowed. No gray or green shorts or pants are allowed. Please do NOT roll up your pant legs. No jackets or vests may be worn in the classroom. You may not wear rubber wristbands/bracelets, bandanas, hats, or gloves. Please keep your accessories to a minimum.
Please remember to get to class on time. No more tardies!
Please do not share your combination with a friend. If you are having trouble opening your locker, ask an adult for help. Also, do not leave your locker "set" to open.
Gum is not allowed at JMS!
No food is allowed on buses. You may have a water bottle.

Science Fair boards are in! Please see Ms. Wright in room 202 before or after school with your $3.

Student of the Month breakfast will be held on Friday, January 31st at 7:30AM.
• 2nd Quarter Honor Roll Breakfast
2nd quarter Honor Roll breakfast will be held for students on Friday, February 7th.

Congratulations to Ms. Goss-Rodgers' class for collecting the most BoxTops and congratulations to the entire 6th grade for collecting the most for 2nd quarter! Rewards will be given this month. Keep collecting and turn them in to your homeroom teachers.

• Box Tops for Education
Keep turning in your box tops!
City Tournament will be held January 23-25 at the Prairie Capital Convention Center with games beginning at 6PM & 8PM.
• Presale tickets are $5 for adults and students & $6 if purchased at the PCCC.
• Doors will open at 5:15PM.
• Wanding procedures will be in effect prior to entry each night.
• You must wear appropriate clothing — no lewd, obscene, or vulgar shirts or shirts that promote inappropriate or illegal behavior.
• Hats must be worn with the bill facing forward at all times.
If you misbehave at City Tournament, there will be severe consequences. Let's all go & have a great time supporting our high school basketball teams!
Please remember to follow all school rules & to show proper sportsmanship when attending a school sporting event. If you are removed from an event, whether at JMS or another school, you may be banned from attending any future extra-curricular events for the remainder of the school year.
If you have been sent to a Buddy Room, you may NOT attend the basketball game. This applies to players and cheerleaders too!

• SHS Cheer Clinic
The SHS cheerleaders will be hosting their annual Youth Cheerleading Clinic on Saturday, February 1st from 9AM-12PM in the SHS annex and new gym. Registration forms must be received by Friday, January 24th to ensure participants receive a t-shirt. They are also selling previous years' cheerleading uniforms for $10 per garment. All Pre-K through 8th grade future SHS cheerleaders are welcome! Any questions, contact head coach Nora Povse at email@example.com or at 525-3100, extension 155. Forms can be found in the Jaguars News area of the main lobby.
• SSHS Kiddie Poms Camp
Who: Any student pre-K through 8th
What: Cool opportunity to learn a routine & dance with the SSHS Poms
Where: Southeast Gym
When: February 1st from 9AM-12PM
Cost: $20 participation fee includes workshop, t-shirt, snack, & game entrance for camper
Registration forms are available in the Jaguar News in the school's main lobby. Registration deadline is January 21st. Forms must be returned to Karmen Goodrich at SSHS. Checks should be made payable to Southeast High School.
