Respect yourself. • Respect others. • Respect property.

Remember: It is not ok to disrupt class. It is not ok to be hurtful to others!

Keep your hands, feet & other objects to yourself!

If you are not in an after-school activity, you may not ride an activity bus.

Teachers ~ you must remain with and supervise your after-school students until all have been picked up or are on an activity bus.

When the 5 minute bell rings in the morning, you are to go to your 1st hour class. Many students are loitering in the halls long after the 8AM bell rings. The tardy policy will be enforced for all hours of the day and for all classes. THIS INCLUDES GYM CLASSES.

When you have received a 6th tardy, you will face an out-of-school suspension. That suspension will result in you not being eligible for the end-of-the-year field trips!

Main Entree: Italian Beef Sandwiches; French Fries; Cheese Broccoli
A la Carte: Walking Tacos - $1.50; Ice Cream - 35ยข

Ms. Wright needs you to return your signed permission slips as soon as possible!

Spring pictures will be taken Friday, April 25th. Students must wear their uniform.

Any 8th grade students going to Southeast High School next year that are interested in being a part of the Sensations show choir, see Mrs. Charneski for an informational letter. There are two meetings you must attend and the first one is this Saturday at 1PM. Just pick up a letter to go with you!

Tryouts will be held Saturday, April 19th at 9:30AM in the SSHS auditorium.

8th grade students ~ Scholarship applications for Lincoln Land Community College are still available. A parent or guardian MUST come to the guidance office and sign for the application. All applications must be in the guidance office by April 25th.

Shorts & capris cannot be worn until May 1st! No cargo shorts will be allowed.

All students who have perfect attendance during the month of April will have their names entered in a special drawing. There will be 2 iPods given away as the prizes!

There will be an introduction to wrestling camp by SHG and Capital Kids Wrestling Club on April 28, 29 & 30 from 6-8PM at the Illinois Military Academy Gym at Camp Lincoln. This is for 5th through 8th grade students. The fee is $20 per participant and must be paid upon registration. Each participant will receive a t-shirt. If you have any questions, call Doug Ludolph at 217-816-3931.

This is a reminder to ALL students to keep their hands to themselves while at school.

• Students — please be in your seat when the tardy bell rings!

Hallway behavior is very important. If you run, hit, curse, etc. in the halls, you will receive an after-school detention for 1 1/2 hours. You will also receive one if you roam the halls during class time.

BIST ~ Teachers are only going to redirect you once! After that, if you do not follow proper classroom procedures, you will be asked to move to the "Safe Seat" in the classroom. Please move to the Safe Seat without arguing. There will be consequences for being sent out of the classroom to a Buddy Room or Recovery.

If you are asked to go to the Safe Seat and you refuse, you will receive at least 2 after-school detentions!

Guest teachers are aware of our BIST procedures. Please respect our guest teachers.

Remember our school expectations:
Respect Yourself • Respect Others • Respect Property
