Teachers ~ thank you for enforcing hall behavior!
Students ~ please be aware that when you are reminded of proper hall behavior, you should comply. Violators will be given administrative lunch detentions!

Respect Yourself
~ Talk quietly.
~ Use appropriate language.
~ Walk on the right side of the hallway.
~ Keep moving to your next class.

Respect Others
~ Keep hands, feet and all other objects to yourself.
~ Follow adult directions.
~ Walk on the right side of the hallway.

Respect Property
~ Love your locker.
~ Clean up after yourself.
~ Respect posters, bulletin boards and student work.

Cell phones, iPods, MP3 players, CD players, cameras, etc. are to be kept in your locker at all times during the school day. You may not carry them in your pocket. You may not use them or carry them at lunch. If you choose to break the rule, your phone will be taken from you and it will be held in the main office. A parent will have to come to school to retrieve it.

Students are not to leave the classroom without a pass and an escort. Teachers ~ please be sure to leave specific sub plans stating that no students are to be in the hallways.

Teachers — if there is a student in violation of the dress code, please fill out a minor referral and call for an escort to room 110. T-shirts worn under uniform polo shirts must be white or match the color of the polo shirt.

No hornets or rubber bands are allowed at Jefferson! If you choose to have them in your possession, there will be severe consequences.

Students ~ if you are not involved in an after school activity, you must leave the building and go home. You may not hang out with sports practices!

There should be no chips or drinks outside of the cafeteria. You must finish your drinks and snacks before you go outside. If you choose to continue to break this rule, the vending machines will be shut off for your grade level!

6th grade band will meet during 3rd hour tomorrow.

J-Jazz will meet Wednesday after school.

Congratulations to the JMS music students who participated in music contest Saturday. JMS received seven 1st Places and three 2nd Places. Great job! See Mrs. Charneski for your medal.

Congratulations to Austin Dohm on being our only Lincoln Land Regional Science Fair finalist. Austin did an outstanding job and will be going to State.

Other participants were Brandon Lawson, Mark Shafer, Elissa Marsh, Susan Petrosky, and Michael Hamrick. They received four 1st Place honors and one 2nd Place honor. Great job!

The following students have had their PRIDE cards drawn and have won a prize. You may pick up your prize in the main office after school today.
