Teachers ~ Please check to make sure all students are dressed appropriately. No hoodies are allowed in the classroom. T-shirts under uniform shirts should be white or the same color as the uniform shirt.
Students: there is a tremendous amount of disrespect being shown in the hallways and the classrooms. This disrespect is being directed toward each other and adults. This behavior will not be tolerated. Please remember that swearing at school is not acceptable. Watch your language!

PTC HAT DAY
Tomorrow, the JMS PTC is sponsoring a Hat Day. If you bring $1, you may wear your favorite hat all day! PTC members will be collecting the money as students enter the building Thursday. You must still wear your school uniform!
21st Century will be selling string cheese for 25¢ during all lunch shifts. The profits will be used to support our troops by buying Silly String. Silly String is being used by the military in Iraq to help detect trip wires on bombs.

If you choose to come to school out of dress code, you will be issued an after school detention from 2:30-4 PM. For each hour of class that you miss because of being out of dress code, you will be issued an additional after school detention. You could possibly end up with 7 after school detentions!
Teachers — if there is a student in violation of the dress code, please fill out a minor referral and call for an escort to room 110.
