Student of the Month
Today is the Student of the Month Luncheon in the library. Congratulations to our November Students of the Month!

Beta Club Can Drive
There will be a contest between every 1st hour class to see which class can bring in the most canned goods. Bring in non-perishable food items to your 1st hour class. Kulavic's team should bring the items to 2nd hour. Beta Club members will come around and get the canned goods daily. By the end of the week, we will tally up cans. The winning classroom wins a pizza party! Start bringing in cans!

PTC Hat Day
The JMS PTC is sponsoring a Hat Day on Thursday, December 21st. If you bring $1, you may wear your favorite hat all day! PTC members will be collecting the money as students enter the building Thursday.

Silly String
Beginning Monday, 21st Century will be selling string cheese for 50¢ during all lunch shifts. The profits will be used to support our troops by buying Silly String. Silly String is being used by the military in Iraq to help detect trip wires on bombs.

Dress Code
If you choose to come to school out of dress code, you will be issued an after school detention from 2:30-4 PM. For each hour of class that you miss because of being out of dress code, you will be issued an additional after school detention. You could possibly end up with 7 after school detentions!

Teachers — if there is a student in violation of the dress code, please fill out a minor referral and call for an escort to room 110.
